Auto FEM Analysis is a finite element analysis program whose main characteristic is its deep integra

This is a complement of AutoCAD , hence its good integration with it, so for its use it is necessary to have the AutoCAD environment and the Lite version is a version that has some limitations that we will see later.

Things you should know about AutoFEM Analysis Lite:

It is a complement of AutoCAD that allows you to perform the following calculations.

Static analysis

Analysis of natural frequencies.

Buckling analysis.

Thermal analysis

Fatigue analysis.

Analysis of forced vibration before harmonic loads.

The pre / post process is done through the AutoCAD interface .

The truth is that the calculation options are quite broad, the issue is that being a free version AutoFEM Analysis Lite has some limitations for different analyzes. However, I think it could satisfy our needs in most cases, especially if what is intended is to make a calculation as a first approximation of our model. Then the limitations of this version are ready, although in the official page you have all the information about it.

In the static and buckling analysis:

Only one solid body can be selected from a single study.

Only two types of mechanical loads (force and pressure) can be introduced.

Only the resultant of the displacements, tensions and deformations can be visualized.

In the analysis of natural frequencies:

Only one solid body can be selected from a single study.

It only calculates the first natural frequency of the system.

Any load entered in the analysis will be omitted.

It does not solve rigid solid modes.

The limitation for thermal analysis is:

Only one solid body can be selected from a single study.

Only two contour concessions (temperature and convection) can be entered.

For fatigue analysis:

Only one solid body can be selected from a single study.

Only one fatigue event per model can be analyzed.

In the forced vibration before harmonic load:

Only one solid body can be selected from a single study.

Only two types of mechanical loads (force and pressure) can be introduced.

The mechanical oscillator can not be used as a source of oscillation. That is, for the harmonic oscillation only mechanical loads can be used.
